蘇教授從事骨科臨床工作 20 余年,主要致力于頸椎病,腰椎間盤突出癥,青少年特發(fā)性脊柱側(cè)凸、遺傳性骨骼畸形等常見運動系統(tǒng)疾病的機制與臨床診治相關(guān)研究,同時擅長常規(guī)頸椎病/腰椎病的最優(yōu)化治療,擅長脊柱截骨矯形術(shù)、脊柱腫瘤完整切除、后路寰樞椎椎弓根釘固定及植骨融合術(shù)。2015年曾接診一名嚴重神經(jīng)肌肉性脊柱側(cè)凸合并呼吸功能受限,用力肺活量(FVC)僅為18%,屬于手術(shù)的絕對禁忌癥。此例患者為我國首例,蘇教授經(jīng)過術(shù)前頭環(huán)牽引及呼吸鍛煉的方法,為患者施行了手術(shù),使患者的側(cè)凸得到了良好的糾正及呼吸功能得到了明顯的增強,同時建立了該類疾病的圍手術(shù)期治療流程。蘇教授十多年來收集了大量遺傳性骨病的標本資源,圍繞骨骼系統(tǒng)畸形和退變性疾病的遺傳發(fā)病機制,開展了從定位基因、構(gòu)建動物模型到功能分析的系列研究,形成了科學的理論體系并運用于臨床優(yōu)生優(yōu)育,同時將精準醫(yī)學理念運用于臨床骨科領(lǐng)域。
